The New Jersey Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) provides financial assistance and support services (e.g. counseling, tutoring, and developmental course work) to students from educationally and economically disadvantaged backgrounds who attend participating institutions of higher education in the State of New Jersey.
The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) provides assistance through mentorship, academic programs, financial assistance, counseling/advising, and other campus support services to those who are first-generation college students, and/or from low-income and educationally disadvantaged backgrounds.
The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) provides admission, academic, and financial support services to historically underserved students throughout California. All university programs and activities are open and available to all regardless of race, sex, color, ethnicity or national origin.
State grant awards. NJ EOF Grant of $1,550 per year for residential students ($1,300 per year for commuters) a $3,500 federal subsidized student loan. an EOF Scholarship of up to $5,000 per year (for up to 4 years; a total award of up to $20,000)
The Basic Educational Opportunity Grant (BEOG) Program is a new source of Federal student financial aid which provided funds for the first time in academic year 1973-74. This program provides for the payment of Basic Grant awards to students attending eligible institutions of postsecondary education.
