Unfortunately no. Because eligibility for the program ended in May of 2021, no new applications can be submitted for a PPP loan in 2023.
The PPP ended on May 31, 2021. Existing borrowers may be eligible for PPP loan forgiveness.
The last PPP draw was in May 2021, and all funds of the PPP program have been depleted. Existing borrowers may be eligible for full loan forgiveness through a loan forgiveness application, including both principal and interest payments. Improperly forgiven paycheck protection loans are considered taxable income.
In 2022, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) made it clear that new applications for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) were no longer being accepted. However, businesses that had received PPP loans in 2020 and 2021 were still eligible for loan forgiveness.
