The Symptoms of Trauma Scale (SOTS) is a 12-item, interview-based, clinician rating measure that assesses the severity of a range of trauma-related symptoms. This pilot study evaluated its use and psychometric properties in an outpatient setting that provides treatment to survivors of chronic interpersonal trauma.
The TSCYC is a 90-item caretaker-report instrument developed for the assessment of trauma-related symptoms in children ages 3-12. It contains two reporter validity scales and eight clinical scales. The scales allow a detailed evaluation of posttraumatic stress symptoms and a tentative PTSD diagnosis.
The TSCYC was normed on 750 children matched to the U.S. Census with 42.3% having experienced a highly upsetting or traumatic event. Clinical Cutoffs Description: T-scores of 65 to 70 are subclinical but considered to be problematic. T-scores of 70 and above are considered to be clinically elevated.
TSCC - Trauma Symptom Checklist for Children. The TSCC measures severity of posttraumatic stress and related psychological symptomatology (anxiety, depression, anger, dissociation) in children ages 8-16 years who have experienced traumatic events, such as physical or sexual abuse, major loss, or natural disasters.
Some of the relatively short screening instruments are the Traumatic Stress Schedule, the Traumatic Events Questionnaire, the Brief Trauma Questionnaire, the Trauma Assessment for Adults, and the Trauma History Screen. As others have noted, exposure to traumatic events can lead to a range of outcomes.

Description. The TSI-2 is a 136-item adult self-report measure of posttraumatic stress and other psychological sequelae of traumatic and stressful events.
Each symptom item is rated according to its frequency of occurrence over the prior two months, using a four point scale ranging from 0 (“never”) to 3 (“often”). The TSC-40 requires approximately 10-15 minutes to complete, and can be scored in approximately 5-10 minutes.
Davidson Trauma Scale (DTS) The DTS is a 17-item, Likert-scale, self-report instrument that assesses the 17 DSM-IV symptoms of PTSD. Both a frequency and a severity score can be determined. The DTS can be used to make a preliminary determination about whether the symptoms meet DSM-IV criteria for PTSD.
