Bills are mailed: Semi-annually (2 times a year) Payment is due on: July 1 and January 1.
Owners who have questions or require assistance with the registration process may contact the Registration Assistance Unit at 212-863-7000 or by email at register@hpd.nyc.gov.
Annual registration costs $13. You will be billed for this amount by the Department of Finance (DOF) on your July Property Tax Bill (PTB). Payment must be made directly to DOF through CityPay, by submitting your PTB payment coupon, going in person to a DOF business center location, or by mailing your payment.
