How much can you withdraw? You can apply to withdraw all your KiwiSaver savings to put towards a home or land, except for: $1,000. Any amount you may have transferred from an Australian complying superannuation scheme (if applicable).
If you're eligible, you can withdraw most of your KiwiSaver funds. You'll just need to maintain a balance of at least $1,000 in your KiwiSaver account. You can't withdraw any amounts transferred from an Australian complying superannuation scheme.
Full withdrawals will take around 2-3 weeks to process taking into account making a final Government contribution claim. Partial withdrawals not requiring a Government contribution claim should take around a week to process.
