The 200th Military Police Command is the senior law enforcement unit within the U.S. Army Reserve. The subordinate elements of the 200th MP Command are primarily military police units, but the command also includes criminal investigation detachments, chaplains, historians, and public affairs detachments.
The MEB Process usually lasts about 65 days, but this is not set in stone. If the case is more difficult, the necessary evidence is not entirely submitted at the start of the MEB Process, or the PEB sends the case back, the MEB Process could take longer.
Your primary care doctor recommends a Medical Evaluation Board (MEB). Your case is referred to and evaluated by a Medical Board Physician who initiates a permanent profile if warranted. If a permanent 3 or 4 level profile is issued the Soldier will be contacted by a Physical Evaluation Board Liaison Officer (PEBLO).
The Out-Processing (OUTPROC) System is used to support and facilitate the out-processing of soldiers from an installation to include permanent change of station , release from active duty discharge, retirement, transfer to the Reserve Components, or temporary duty of 90 or more days.
During the MEB process the Soldier will be evaluated by the Veterans Administration and a VA liaison will also be assigned to assist with Soldier. The Soldiers packet is forwarded to the Physical Evaluation Board for a final decision. Once results are received, the Soldier is counseled on his/her elective options.
