The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. This is a great loop around both Great and Little ponds at Frensham. Completely mud free, so good for winter walks as well as summer. Easy walking.

To walk around the Great Pond is about 1.5miles and takes 30-45 minutes. The views from the ridge to the North West are particularly lovely, overlooking the lake towards Frensham Pond Hotel. The walk goes through heath, woods and beach; it can be a little muddy in winter so boots are a good idea.

There is a café at the pond too, and toilets, which is useful. Lovely walk - we chose to do a fairly long walk that went around both ponds.
