What happens when USSSA tournaments get rained out?
The tournament director reserves the right to reschedule the tournament within 45 days in case of rain.
How does USSSA determine classification?
You will need to renew your sanction for each team ONE time a season. Once this is done, your team will be in the USSSA.com system and will be able to input and track results and scores for you throughout the season and ACROSS the country in USSSA events. This one-time fee is $25 per team per season.
What is the USSSA softball refund policy?
REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATIONS OR SHORTENING OF AN EVENT An 80% refund will be given to teams that do not start any game in an event. A 50% refund will be given to teams starting less than half of their scheduled games. No refund will be given to teams starting half or more of their scheduled games.
Can you steal in USSSA slowpitch softball?
Bunting or chopping the ball downward is illegal. This will result in a dead ball, batter is out and all runners return to the base occupied at the time of the pitch. This is an Umpires judgment call. Stealing and leading off bases are not permitted.
