What Does This Mean for High School Athletes? The update to Article 9 allows Florida high school athletes to earn money through endorsements, sponsorships, and other avenues related to their NIL without jeopardizing their eligibility to compete in high school sports.
Preparticipation physical evaluations should occur approximately six weeks before activity to allow for further evaluation, treatment, or rehabilitation as needed.
The PPE comprises several parts: past medical history, sport-specific history, family history and physical exam. A well-rounded physical activity program includes aerobic exercise and strength training exercise, but not necessarily in the same session.
The sports physical is also known as a preparticipation physical evaluation (PPE). The sports history and exam helps to tell if its safe for you to participate in your sport. Most states require students have a sports physical before they can play school sports.
