In LIV Golf, there are 12 captains who will draft three teammates each week. Over the course of the three-day tournament, the two best stroke-play scores from the first two rounds count toward the team totals. In the final round, the best three scores from the team are counted to determine the winning team.
Each tourney will have 48 players in four teams of 12, selected via a draft the week of the tournament. Every team will also have a LIV-appointed captain. The individual elements of the event will be scored by traditional stroke play.
To be eligible for one of these spots, you have to advance through a pre-qualifier tournament with a field of roughly 150 players. Those who advance then play in the Monday qualifier, where 50 to 125 players compete for those four spots. Those who don't advance, well \u2026 good luck next time.
The tournament will be globally available direct to consumers on LIVGolf.com, YouTube and Facebook. The LIV Golf event broadcasts will also be aired live on a global roster of leading premium and free-to-air broadcasters providing coverage in over 150 territories around the world.
