The highest Venturing award, the Summit Award requires a Venturer to continue service to their crew in a leadership role, become a mentor to others, take their Venturing involvement beyond their crew, and plan and execute a major service project. This is similar to the Eagle Award for Scouts BSA.
The Arrow of Light is the highest individual award a Cub Scout can earn. Once youve achieved the Arrow of Light, youre ready to become a part of a Scouts BSA Troop!
Potentially even more demanding than the Eagle Scout award, and certainly rarer, is the Hornaday award. Just how difficult is the Hornaday award to earn? On average, only 12 Scouts per year earn the Hornaday award! To put that in perspective, the 4% of Scouts who rose to Eagle Scout last year translated into 56,841.
