Level 3.5 is clinically managed residential services. These services are designed for people with serious psychological or social issues who need 24-hour oversight and are at risk of imminent harm.
ASAM CONTINUUM a comprehensive electronic assessment tool that allows clinicians, counselors, and other staff to assess individuals with addictive substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions and leverage a computerized clinical decision support system (CDSS) to make level of care recommendations.
This level of care offers 24-hour nursing care and daily physician care for severe, unstable problems in any of the following ASAM dimensions: i) acute intoxication or withdrawal potential; ii) biomedical conditions and complications; iii) emotional, behavioral, or cognitive conditions and complications.
