Applying For a Library Card Find an employee to talk to. Once at the library, find a person who works there to ask about library accounts. Ask to apply for a library card. Fill out all necessary paper work. Sign your library card.
To join a library and borrow books is free - just visit your local library or complete the online registration form. On your first visit you will need to show proof of your signature, for example a credit card or passport, to collect your library card.
To join please bring photo ID and proof of address (e.g. a bill for gas, electricity, telephone, mobile phone; a bank statement, issued within the past 6 months) with you. If you register online you will have one month to visit a branch - bringing photo ID and proof of address - and get your library card.
At the top of the librarys home screen in Libby, tap I Would Like A Card then Visit Library Website or Use My Phone Number and follow the prompts. If youre still not sure how to get a card or cant use your phone number to sign up for one, ask at your nearest public library.
