A Performance Assessment Report (PAR) is a formal document that evaluates a contractors performance against the specific requirements outlined in a contract or task order. It is typically used by government agencies to assess how well a contractor has fulfilled their obligations.
For example, in the DoD, the threshold is $1 million for services and information technology contracts. CPARS-generated PPI is one of the tools used to communicate contractor strengths and weaknesses to source selection officials and Contracting Officers.
