The College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA), which is the largest college within the University of Michigan, tends to have a slightly higher acceptance rate than the university overall, often in the ballpark of the mid-20s to low30% range.
The University of Michigan Central Campus Historic District contains nearly thirty docHub buildings. These buildings were constructed over a range of dates, with the first, the Presidents House, constructed in 1840.
LSA programs consistently rank among the top 10 in U.S. News World Report, and LSA faculty hold numerous distinctions, including fellowships from MacArthur (Genius Grant recipients), Guggenheim, Packard, and Cottrell Scholars.
