The Memphis Advantage Scholarship is a $4,000 per year award. A student must be a graduating high school senior, a Tennessee resident, have a minimum 20 ACT/1030 SAT and a 3.0 or higher cumulative high school grade point average.
Undergraduate Students must meet at least one of the following eligibility requirements as an incoming undergraduate: 25 ACT or 1200 SAT equivalent. 3.25 U.S.A. equivalent cumulative High School GPA as determined by a credential evaluation agency (.naces.org).
The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Scholarship Program encourages Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) students to become educators, school nurses, school counselors or school therapists and to promote professional growth for BIPOC teachers and Education Support Professionals (ESP) members.
Entering first-year students Must have a minimum of a 21 ACT (980 old SAT or 1060 new SAT), exclusive of the essay and optional subject area battery tests OR overall weighted minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA).
