Review each criterion section: Content, Focus, Format, High Frequency Words, and Conventions. For each criterion, assess the student's performance based on the provided scoring scale (3, 2, 1, 0).
In the Content section, evaluate if the student has included three reasons to support their opinion. Assign points accordingly.
For Focus, determine how much support the student needed when choosing a menu item. Score based on independence.
Check if all components of a friendly letter are present in the Format section and score appropriately.
Assess High Frequency Words by checking how many common words were written correctly from memory or resources.
Finally, evaluate Conventions focusing on proper use of commas and overall writing conventions before calculating the total score.
