The Test Optional program allows high school students with at least a 3.3 GPA in a rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum seeking first-time entry to the university the option to be considered for admission without regard to SAT or ACT results.
The acceptance rate at ODU is 90.5%. For every 100 applicants, 91 are admitted. This means the school is a nearly open admissions school. They accept nearly all students, so for the most part, you just need to submit an application to get in.
General Admission This involves the submission of high school transcript and test scores. Minimum cumulative, weighted GPA of 2.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Superscore of 18 on the ACT (or) 940 or higher (out of 1600) on the SAT.
