Log into MyAccount section on ros.ie. Go to Review Your Tax option under Pay As You Earn (PAYE) Services. Click Request button beside Employment Detail Summary (Note: if you already have requested this document you can click View instead)
Since 1 January 2019, the P60 is abolished in line with PAYE Modernisation. This means employees no longer receive a P60 at the end of the year from their employer. Instead, a P60 replacement called the Employment Details Summary (EDS) will be made available by Revenue to employees via their myAccount.
The P60, also known as the end-of-year certificate, was a summary given to you by the employer each year. It outlined all of your pay and the tax that was deducted by your employer during the year.
These are the P60 and P45. The P45 is used when employees change jobs and the P60 is used to summarise the employees tax information at the end of the tax year.
You should be issued your P60 by your current employer. If you dont receive one, you can also get your P60 information online by creating a HMRC personal tax account. If youve changed jobs during the tax year, you will only receive a P60 at the end of the tax year by your current employer.
