ASAP is a three-year program that is designed to remove barriers to college success and completion for students seeking associate degrees. ASAP offers students financial, academic, and personal supports.
All students must: Be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen (NYS DREAM Act students also eligible) Be eligible for in-state tuition. Be matriculated full-time in a SUNY Schenectady County Community College Associates degree program (minimum 12 credits per semester; certificate programs are not eligible)
The goal of the Aviation Safety Action Program ( ASAP ) is to enhance aviation safety through the prevention of accidents and incidents. Its focus is to encourage voluntary reporting of safety issues and events that come to the attention of employees of certain certificate holders.
Current CUNY or transfer students may have 16 or fewer college credits at the completion of the semester prior to entering the program and must be in good academic standing (GPA of 2.0 or above). Be fully skills proficient or have no more than two outstanding developmental course needs at the time of entry.
ASAP offers students financial, academic, and personal supports. ASAP students are required to enroll full time and are encouraged to take any required developmental education courses in the first semester.
