Each student may enter only one project that covers research done over a maximum, continuous 12-month period between January and May of the current ISEF year.
A student must be selected by an Regeneron ISEF-affiliated fair, and meet both of the following: a. be in grades 9-12 or equivalent; and. b. not have reached age 20 on or before May 1 preceding the Regeneron ISEF.
It is imperative that all projects (PreK-12) involving any of the following obtain project approval by an SRC prior to starting the project: non-human vertebrate animals. animal/human tissue. recombinant DNA. pathogens. microbes/microorganisms. human subjects. controlled substances. hazardous substances.
