If you tested in Kentucky, visit https://request.ged.ky.gov/WelcomeGEDRequestPage.aspx to make the request from Kentucky Adult Education. The cost is $10 for a transcript and paper copy of your diploma, or $25 for a keepsake replacement diploma.
What If My School Closed? In the event that your school no longer exists, you'll need to request your transcripts from the Department of Education in the state where you attended school. The US Department of Education has a searchable list by state that you can access by clicking here.
Transcripts. Transcripts for students who were enrolled at Illinois schools that closed can be obtained by contacting the Illinois Board of Higher Education, as noted below. This includes transcripts for closed private vocational/technical schools and degree-granting institutions. All requests must be in writing.
The printed diploma can be ordered in your GED® account at GED.com. After logging in, go to My Scores and select Order Duplicates. Select Diploma option and then select the Printed Diploma \u2013 Free option. You will then be asked who and what address you want the diploma to be mailed to.

We recommend contacting your local test center or your state's office at (217) 558-5668. How do I request my transcript and diploma? You must contact the Regional Office of Education for the county in which you tested in to request your transcripts or certificates.
Please complete the request form and fax (217-333-3100) or mail or hand-deliver (901 West Illinois Street, Suite 140, Urbana, IL 61801) the form, along with a good photocopy of the original diploma, to us. Certified copies of diplomas are $6.00 each.

You can send your document(s) to any destination: to a college, an employer, or yourself, for example. If you send your transcript to a school in the Parchment network, you may only get the option to send it electronically (as opposed to by mail). This is because some schools do not want to receive paper transcripts.
