However, one quarter of admitted applicants achieved scores above these ranges and one quarter scored below these ranges.
Decently competitive. As someone who got waitlisted, it feels like they waitlist a lot of people after Candidates Weekend. Olin is a rigorous school; from day one, you are expected to apply math and physics to advanced engineering projects.
Good performance in classes There is no minimum GPA required for admission to Olin. We seek students who work hard, enjoy learning, and who have performed to the best of their ability in rigorous courses. Performing well does not always mean getting perfect grades, either.
Once admitted to UGA, students who plan to pursue a Bachelor of Agricultural, Biochemical, Biological, Civil, Computer Systems, Electrical and Electronics, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering are initially admitted to the College of Engineering as intended-engineering majors.
Most colleges expect a high school GPA of at least 3.0 or a demonstration that the student was in, at minimum, the top 25 percent of their graduating high school class. Standardized testing requirements are also quite common for engineering schools.
