The College of Engineering at the University of Texas was established as the Department of Engineering in 1894.
Students receive a stipend at the annual rate of $40,000/year, full tuition and fees, and access to university health insurance.
University Graduate Continuing Fellowship It includes a stipend of $36,000 for 12 months, health insurance assistance and tuition assistance that pays the cost of in-state tuition and fees up to nine semester credit hours for the fall and spring semesters and three for summer.
Funding. Mentoring Fellows receive a stipend of $38,000 for 12 months. In addition, the costs of tuition (9 hours in fall and spring, 3 hours in summer) are covered. An insurance supplement is provided towards the costs of covering medical, dental and vision insurance.
The good news is that nearly all our full-time PhD students have 100% of their tuition covered. In addition, PhD students get a monthly stipend ranging from $1,850 to $2,150 for covering living expenses. Financial support is generally guaranteed for four academic years.
