A good GPA for law school typically falls around 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. However, what constitutes a ``good GPA can vary depending on the law school youre applying to. Top-tier law schools (like Harvard, Yale, or Stanford) generally look for GPAs of 3.7 or above.
The 25th percentile LSAT is 165 and the 75th percentile LSAT is 169. The median GPA is 3.88.
USC Gould School of Law offers two starts in fall and spring. Applications become available in September for Fall semester and in June for Spring semester. To receive priority consideration and a $75 application fee waiver, apply by our Priority Deadline (see date below for each semester).
Students will complete their undergraduate and law school studies in a total of six years. Students must have a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.80 both at the time an application is submitted and at enrollment. Under current ABA guidelines, the LSAT is not required; however, this is subject to change.
Eligibility. To be eligible to apply, you must have earned or plan to receive a bachelors degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (based on a 4.0 grading scale) from a regionally accredited institution before enrolling at USC Gould School of Law.
