Portfolio Requirements. Submit a portfolio that gives us a sense of you, your interests, and your willingness to experiment, explore, and think beyond technical skills. There is no one right way to construct a portfolioyou choose what to present.
Do I need to submit a portfolio? Only applicants to a major in the School of Art and Design will be asked to submit a portfolio. The portfolio evaluation is done by your major department. The results of that evaluation are forwarded to the Admissions Office and are considered when we make an admissions decision.
Your portfolio should include 10-20 original artworks (you may include proper documentation for artworks too big or unable to be brought in person) As well as any sketchbooks, to include drawing from observation. Artwork for the portfolio does NOT need to be matted.
