UA Faculty-Led Programs Faculty-led programs are usually in the summer and require minimum a 2.2 GPA. Students pay a program fee that includes tuition, housing abroad, in-country travel, international insurance, and other on-site expenses. Generally, this fee DOES NOT include airfare.
All students applying for affiliated, exchange, faculty-led, internships and ISR programs pay a $75 application fee each time they apply to study or intern abroad. This fee is non-refundable, non-reversible and non-transferable. This fee is not refunded due to withdrawal or program cancellation due to COVID-19.
Open to Pell Grant recipients, the Gilman Scholarship aims to diversify the kinds of students who study abroad and the regions/countries where they go. UT students are number two in the nation in terms of receiving the Gilman.
