About the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award This award recognizes and honors faculty members who are exemplary in their compassion and sensitivity in the delivery of care to patients and their family members, as well as in their respect for their colleagues.
The ASCP Medical Student Award honors medical students who have achieved academic excellence, demonstrated leadership ability, and shown a strong interest in the pathology profession. Ten medical students will be selected to receive this prestigious award. One student will be chosen to receive the Gold Award.
The Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award presented by the Arnold P. Gold Foundation honors a graduating medical student for exemplifying outstanding humanism in medicine along with scientific excellence.
