  5. On Line 3, enter the tax amount from the previous year’s return as indicated.
  6. Complete Line 4 by entering the lesser value between Lines 2 and 3.
  7. Fill in installment dates on Line 5 corresponding to your tax year’s schedule.
  8. Calculate and enter 25% of Line 4 into Columns (a) through (d) on Line 6.
  9. Continue filling out Lines 7 through 9 based on your payments and any overpayments as described in the form instructions.
