Montana CPA Exam Licensing - Cost and Fees The education evaluation application fee for the CPA Exam in Montana is $140. Each section of the exam costs around $344.80. Please note that the application fee for the CPA Exam is non-refundable.
Colorados (CO) CPA exam requirements are possibly the most advantageous of all the states. It does not require 150 hours to sit. With no requirement to be a US Citizen, a resident of CO, or a certain age, it makes Colorado one of the easiest states to sit for the CPA exam and become licensed.
A CPA candidate in Montana can apply and sit for the exam once they have completed at least 48 accounting and business credits from an accredited four-year school. Degree-completion status does not affect eligibility. Half of those required credits must come from upper-level accounting courses.
Please see the information under the tab: Becoming a CPA by International Reciprocity. All licenses must be renewed by December 31 of each year, or a 100% late fee will be added to the renewal fee. The fee to timely renew a license is: $125.00 for full active licensees.
All active permit holders are required to maintain 120 hours of CPE, including 50% technical subjects including two hours of ethics, to maintain an active license.
