The SF-86 is a standard, U.S. government form that must be completed by all prospective applicants for national security positions. The form has more than 20 sections and more than 100 pages. It can take up to two hours to complete, depending on how quickly you can access all the required information.
e-QIP allows the user to electronically enter, update and transmit their personal investigative data over a secure internet connection to a requesting agency. Note: e-QIP has been replaced by eApp and NBIS Agency.
