The Individual Student Reports (ISRs) provide information on how students performed on state administered assessments such as End-of-Grade, End-of-Course, and NCEXTEND1. The scores on these assessments are only one of many indicators of how students are progressing.
Credit Amount The credit is the lesser of $3,000 per semester for each eligible dependent child or the amount the taxpayer paid during the tax year for tuition and special education and related services expenses for each semester for that child.
After completing the North Carolina End-of-Grade (EOG), End-of-Course (EOC), or NCEXTEND1 assessments, students receive an Individual Student Report (ISR). Parents/guardians of students who took EOG, EOC or NCEXTEND1 assessments in grades 6-13 can view the ISR through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
Based on the most recently collected data, the IRP shall include the following information, specific to the identified student: (1) The specific reading skill deficiencies identified by assessment data. (2) Goals and benchmarks for growth. (3) The means by which progress will be monitored and evaluated.
Overview of Math EOGs Students who are Not Proficient do not meet the On-Grade-Level Proficiency Standard, nor the Career-and-College Readiness Standard. They demonstrate inconsistent understanding of grade level content standards and will need support.
