How long can my child stay on PeachCare for Kids? PeachCare for Kids provides 12 months of eligibility, unless the child turns 19 or moves out-of-state. Eligibility must be re-determined annually.
RSM for children pays for medical care for children from birth through the last day of the month in which the child turns nineteen (19) years of age. These children may qualify at various income levels depending on age, family size and income.
Determine if Youre Eligible Be a resident of Georgia. Be a U.S. citizen or authorized immigrant. Be under age 19. Not have current health care coverage or be eligible for Medicaid.
Young people up to 21 may be eligible for Medicaid. Youth who have aged out of foster care can be covered under Medicaid until they reach 26; there is no income limit for these youth. Medicaid and CHIP coverage is for U.S. citizens and certain lawfully present immigrants.
Eligible Dependents include Spouses and the following Dependent Children up to age 26: Natural Child. Adopted Child. Child due to Legal Guardianship.
