It can take 30-120 days, from the date the Board mails the fingerprint cards to the DOJ/FBI, for the Board to receive the results. Approved-The application is approved for licensure/certification. The license number will appear on License Lookup as well as on the applicants BPELSG Connect dashboard.
In most cases it takes 4 to 5 years to get a PE after graduating from an accredited school with a BS in engineering. and have taken the Engineer in Training exam. You then have to work under a PE for 4 years in the field you expect to be licensed in before taking the exam for the for the PE.
How many times can I take the PE exam? You can take most PE exams once per three-month testing window and no more than three times per year. Certain PE exams are only offered once per year in October.
