Arkansas Army National Guard Units. The Arkansas Army National Guard is composed of over 6,700 Soldiers in four Brigades: The 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. The 77th Aviation Brigade. The 142nd Field Artillery Brigade.
The National Guard is administered by the National Guard Bureau, a joint activity of the Army and Air Force under the Department of Defense. The National Guard Bureau provides a communication channel for state National Guards to the DoD.
Brigadier General Bridges was appointed by Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders as the Secretary of the Arkansas Department of Military and the 55th Adjutant General of Arkansas on August 5th, 2024.
Must meet educational requirements high school graduate or equivalent. Pending on your eligibility and MOS you can received up to a $20,000.00 bonus. This bonus is paid in three installments over the life of your service contract after completing basic training and advanced individual training.
