Photoshop as a verb The term commonly refers to digital editing of photographs regardless of which software program is used.
Use pencil for labeling: Pencil lead #1 or #2 is the museum gold standard for labeling anything on paper, because it is soft and erasable. Dont press too hard, because it will leave a depression on the reverse side. If the photograph is glossy or slick, we recommend a Stabilo-brand pencil, which is darker and softer.
When labeling your images, try to be both descriptive and concise, and use relevant keywords when possible. Avoid using generic filenames like ``IMG001. jpg or ``photo. jpg as they dont provide any information about the content of the image.
Physical photographs A #2 pencil is recommended for photographic prints printed on fiber-based paper. Its safe and reversible if you need to change the information. For contemporary photographs with a plastic coating, you can use Stabilo All Marking Pencils, which can be wiped off smooth surfaces with water.
Just be consistent. DONT say left to right if there are only two people shown. Identify one with location (Sue Horner, left); the other name is obviously right so adding the word is unnecessary.

The classic convention for titling an image is to identify the subject (name the person, place or thing) and add the date of creation: if its a photograph use the date of exposure; if its a painting use the date of completion; if its a composite photograph default to the latter; if its an image of a historic event
