If you have accepted an unconditional offer to study a full-time course at Kingston University, you should immediately request a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) before you apply for your Student Route visa. The CAS is not automatically issued.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS A MISTAKE ON MY CAS? If you notice any errors in your CAS statement, you should email the CAS team as soon as possible by emailing cas@napier.ac.uk. You should not submit your visa application until the errors have been resolved.
What is a CAS? CAS stands for 'Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies'. The CAS is an electronic record that the University produces for the Home Office and it is required for your Student visa application.
Your CAS will list the full fees (or fees for the first year if your course is longer than one year) and £0 paid until any payment for fees has actually been transferred to the college bank account. This will not be a problem for your visa application.
How long will applying for a CAS number take? The University and UKVI process thousands of student cases each month, so it can be 10 working days between when you confirm your CAS Application Information and when we email you with your CAS number.
