The Summative ELPAC is a paper-pencil test administered in seven grade spans\u2014K, 1, 2, 3\u20135, 6\u20138, 9\u201310, and 11\u201312. In kindergarten and grade 1, all domains are administered individually. In grades 2\u201312, the test is administered in groups exclusive of speaking, which is assessed one-on-one.
