A grade of F means that the student failed the course. No credit is earned, but the grade of F is computed in the students grade-point average as an F.

However, you can also be suspended if its your first full-time semester at App State and you make a 0.0 GPA. In that case, you would automatically be suspended without being allowed to use any probation semesters. Note that only coursework taken at App State is used to compute your GPA.

What is the App State retake policy?

The first four courses you repeat will AUTOMATICALLY be processed as grade forgiveness courses. You will not have to complete a form to have your first grade excluded from your GPA calculation. If you have already used some repeats as grade forgiveness, this does not mean you get four more!

How many career drops do you get at App State?

Okay, so what should you know? You are allowed to use a total of four Career Drops during your enre academic career. Career Drops do not include courses dropped during the Drop/Add Period. You drop courses through your AppalNet account; no form is required.
