A: No - the Technical Study examined three different scenarios with varying market conditions, and under all three, electricity rates were slightly lower for SVCE than PGE. Electricity rates are dependent upon the type of customer and the particular CCE option each customer chooses.

How to opt out of Valley Clean Energy?

Customers can opt out of VCE service at any time by calling 1 (855) 699-VCEA (8232) or visiting our Opt Out page. You will need your PGE account information to complete the opt-out process. There is no fee to opt out before enrollment. Modest fees of $5/residential and $25/commercial account apply thereafter.
