How to do subtraction of an integer?
Rule 3: Use the Keep, Change, Change method. A great shortcut for subtracting integers is called the Keep, Change, Change method. Lets look at an example: 4 6 becomes 4 + (6), which equals 10. You kept 4, changed the minus to a plus, and changed positive 6 to negative 6.
What are the two models of subtraction?
Abstract: Subtraction can be understood by two basic models taking away (ta) and determining the difference (dd) and by its inverse relation to addition.
