Each OGS and QEII-GSST is valued at a maximum of $15,000 per year or $5,000 per term. Waterloo celebrates outstanding academic achievement of its graduate students by offering the Presidents Graduate Scholarship (PGS) to students receiving an OGS or QEII-GSST.
The CGS-D is valued at $40,000/year (tenable only in Canada), for three years. *Applications are no longer accepted for the CIHR CGS-D program. Please refer to the Canada Graduate Research Scholarship Doctoral program web page and GPS webpage for information regarding the new harmonized program.
How much can I get. QEII-GSST awards are based on the number of your consecutive terms of studies within an academic year: $10,000 for 2 consecutive study terms. $15,000 for 3 consecutive study terms.
Queens Graduate Awards (QGAs) are awarded annually on the recommendation of a Department, Program, School or Faculty to the SGSPA. QGAs are awarded to eligible Masters and Doctoral students in all fields in graduate departments/programs in the SGSPA.
