However, the carers payment is for a person giving more intensive care, that takes up more of their time. Although the carers allowance is for someone giving extensive care, its less time consuming.
The ADAT measures the level of special care needed by an adult because of his or her disability and/or medical condition. The ADAT aims to assess the level of care provided to individuals experiencing a range of disabilities, including physical, intellectual and psychiatric disabilities.
Information for carers This payment can help you if you provide constant care to someone who needs care for at least 6 months. This payment is also if youre caring for someone at the end of their life. You can care for one or more people, in their home.
