NATIONAL CHILDRENS ALLIANCE (NCA) is a national association dedicated to helping communities respond to allegations of child abuse in ways that are effective and efficient and put the needs of child victims of abuse first.
While Associate Members are working toward accreditation, and our Affiliate Members serve children in their communities with the resources available, the vast majority of NCA members have undertaken the rigorous process to meet the 10 National Standards of Accreditation and become Accredited CACs.
The Office of The Childrens Advocate (OCA) is a Commission of Parliament mandated to enforce and protect the rights and best interest of all children.
Those aspirations came to naught when the NCS was canceled in December 2014, after a 14-year history during which it burned through $1.3 billion in taxpayer dollars without generating much in the way of useful information.
