To be eligible to play wheelchair tennis, a competitor must have a medically diagnosed, permanent, mobility-related physical disability and then meet one of several criteria which includes Neurological deficit at the S1 level or proximal, anklylosis, severe arthrosis or joint replacement in the lower half,
Qualifications for Quads Players The permanent motor function disabilities must be in either or both lower limbs, and they must be partial functional disabilities or total functional disabilities.
Who can compete? Wheelchair Tennis is open to athletes with a physical impairment. Athletes are required to submit medical reports and meet the minimum impairment criteria in order to compete.
