Form W2: Wage and Tax Statements are mailed to your home address or routed to your department for distribution. This normally occurs by January 31st of each year. If you do not receive your Form W2 by the end of January, you should contact your Personnel/Payroll Office.

To correct a Form W-2 you have already submitted, file a Form W-2c with a separate Form W-3c for each year needing correction. File a Form W-3c whenever you file a Form W-2c, even if you are only filing a Form W-2c to correct an employees name or Social Security number (SSN).
The word reissue suggests that the employee did not receive the original due to the incorrect address. Any reissued Form W-2 should have REISSUED STATEMENT written across the top of the employee copies to avoid confusion in case the original copies turn up later. A third method involves reissuing the statement.
If your employer issued your W-2, sent it to the correct address and it contained no errors, then they have performed the duties in ance with IRS regulations. If you subsequently lost your W-2 statement, your employer must reissue it. The reissued W-2 will have the words REISSUED STATEMENT on it.
