OSU considers a holistic application process, evaluating students based on academic performance, extracurricular involvement, and personal qualities. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is generally competitive, but higher GPAs increase chances of admission.
Recommendation letters are not required for any applicants, but are often received and sometimes have proven to be helpful in our decision.
Freshman applicants with a cumulative grade-point average between 2.75 and 2.99 are eligible for admission if they receive a composite score of 23 on the ACT (including the Writing section or a combined score of 1130 on the Evidence-Based Reading/ Writing and Mathematics sections of the SAT.
Application Procedures Students can apply for admission online at wou.edu/admission/. Have an official high school transcript sent to Admissions documenting all coursework completed to date. Submission of ACT or SAT scores is optional for freshman applicants with a 3.00 cumulative grade-point average.
Qualifications. Graduate from an accredited high school with a standard diploma. Have a cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 2.75 or higher. Submit Undergraduate Admission Application.
