Campus residents are limited to one approved ESA. Pets: Pets are prohibited, but fish in tanks under 10 gallons are allowed. Service animals and ESAs are not considered pets; however, they do require approval and documentation from the Disability Access Center (DAC).
Western University established a Pets and Therapy Animals policy in May 2020 that limits the presence of pets in campus buildings. Service and therapy animals are permitted inside all Western Libraries locations, in ance with accessibility policies, however animals for companionship are not allowed.
The grade received for each attempt will continue to appear on the students academic record. A student may attempt a single course no more than three times. WKU does not guarantee the right to repeat any course.
As the University is part of the surrounding neighborhoods and community, privately owned domestic animals under proper restraint of their owner are allowed on University property, but may not enter buildings or structures.
