Chicago (often also called Turabian) style is generally used by subject areas in the humanities and social sciences. It features footnotes or endnotes and an alphabetized list of references at the end called the Bibliography.
Format for Citation: Author Last, First. Title. Journal Name volume #, no. issue # (Month or Season Year): inclusive page numbers if available. URL/doi/database name.
Turabian bibliography. Author last name, First name. Article Title. Journal Name Volume, no. Issue (Month or Season Year): Page range. DOI or URL.
Formatting Notes Double-space all entries in the reference list for APA and MLA. Turabian uses single spacing. APA, MLA, and Turabian use italicized type to indicate titles of major works (book titles, journal titles, etc.). Turabian examples given are for the bibliography, not for the notes.
