To add funds online, navigate to myUMBC, access the topics tab, select billing and personal finance, and then Campus Card. You can then use any valid American Express, Mastercard, Visa, or Discover card. The minimum deposit amount is $10 and for each deposit, there is a 2.75% convenience fee.
For All Students: You must have an undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 (converted to a 4.0 scale), with GPAs of 3.2 or higher preferred. GPAs in Master level courses or degrees can be included for GPA considerations.
Obtaining a Card The first step in obtaining your UMBC Retriever Card is to upload your photo. All photos must be submitted through our online photo upload portal. Additional instructions on uploading a photo can be found here. Once your photo is approved, you will receive an email with pick-up instructions.
The Real ID Core Four are the four documents youll need to verify who you are and where you live. One Proof of Age and Identity, One Proof of Social Security and TWO Proofs of Maryland residency. Dont leave for your MDOT MVA visit without them! NEW: MDOT MVA may already have social security documents on file!
Please note, a form of valid (non-expired), government-issued photo ID, such as a drivers license or passport, will be required in order to receive your Campus Card.
